Marcia’s Vision.
Marcia believed that the key to creating a stronger, more prosperous Barre starts with a strong foundation for our kids. Every child is capable of living a happy, healthy, and prosperous life if we just give them the right tools.
To empower student success investments from the foundation will seek to provide after-school and summer programming for kids, enrichment programming and experiential learning, and provide stability for the physical and emotional wellbeing of students.

After-school and summer programs provide additional academic support for students who truly need it the most. It can supplement the great work occurring in the classroom to meet the specific needs of the child. Summer Programming also prevents the learning loss that occurs during the summer months.

Through field trips and experiential learning students can explore the possibilities of different careers, interests and hobbies. From learning about the depth of the ocean at an aquarium to learning how to make a home-cooked meal, exposure to novel experiences can empower students to see a future for themselves.
